This is antique or vintage - never been used!! It is hard to read the back, as some words are missing altogether and some are only partially visible, but I believe it says: "STARS AND STRIPES BOW COMPACT", "TRANSLUCENT POWDER", "LONDON", "CALIFORNIA 99208" "MADE IN USA", and "NET WT .25 OZ". I can't pick out any other words clearly.
There are no missing gems on the red/white/blue bow on the front. It opens by pushing the button at the top. It has a mirror inside as well. Small indentation in the powder - not sure where that came from, maybe it was made that way, but the powder has obviously never been used.
