This exceptional sculpture demonstrates superb casting quality, fine details, and outstanding workmanship. The figure is beautifully rendered with intricate details throughout, showcasing the high level of craftsmanship found in Meiji period bronze art.

The face and hands haver a warm light brown patina, while the remainder of the figure displays a rich dark brown patina. The mouse is finely gilded, providing a striking contrast.
