The instrument features the classic "Ash body with Maple fretboard" combination—a hallmark of Atelier Z's 1970s-style specifications. It features a Vintage Natural finish paired with a 3-ply black pickguard; the pickguard is thick and designed to prevent fingers from slipping underneath during slap playing, ensuring comfortable playability.
It is equipped with the Bartolini XTCT preamp—the core of the signature ATELIER Z active sound.
The wiring incorporates a "Spectrum Boost" configuration to enhance sound pressure, making this an ideal instrument for players who favor powerful techniques like slap or pick playing.
