Tikhi (Tykhyi) Ivan Antonovich (1927-82)
He was born in Kharkiv region. He has graduated from Kyiv Institute of Art(1953). He was a student of S. Grigorev, V.Kostetski. He is a professor, 1964-1982 he taught at the Kyiv Art Institute. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Two of his works “Storks” and “Admission to the Pioneers” were known throughout the Soviet Union. He had a lot of personal exhibitions. His paintings are in many museums and in the private collections. Active in Kyiv.
