Ex-library copy, with pocket to rear end paper; library stamps to end papers, pastedowns, half-title & title pages; scars to pastedowns where dust jacket was partially attached; faint Dewey numbers to spine of dj; dust jacket covered by old library laminate.
Except for library stamps, pages are clean & unmarked. Small puncture to rear end paper & final 5 leaves (affecting p. 133 to 140). Superficial moisture stain to bottom corner of page block. Binding firm & square. Covers have mild wear at spine ends, along bottom edges & at corners, with boards exposed just a bit at bottom front corner; mild bump to bottom front corner. Dust jacket is covered by old library laminate; mild wear to corners & spine ends; laminate is covering a tear to top front corner along spine, with what appears to be a small chip.
Despite being ex-library, still an attractive, very solid & surprisingly clean copy of the first Book Club printing in the original dust jacket.
Ships well-packed in a box.
