NOTE REGARDING FOAM SEALS: Like nearly all camera bodies of its age, this camera uses a foam rubber mirror mirror bumper and film door light seals. It is in the nature of this material to degrade and begin to crumble over time. With these vintage bodies approaching half a century or more in age, it is common for them to develop light leaks and/or mirror vibrations as the result of foam degradation.
Since degradation/failure of these components over time is a normal occurrence, they are considered consumables, and are not covered under the money-back guarantee for this item. Therefore, while a camera may work just fine as received, I strongly recommend that all vintage camera bodies be re-sealed prior to use in order to prevent the risk of ruined shots/wasted film.
If you are the DIY type, very inexpensive ($10-$15) foam kits are available for nearly all vintage cameras, and I am happy to help you source one if you are interested in doing the work yourself. If you want to spare yourself the hassle, I can also reseal your body for a fee of $35 prior to shipment. I can do this either in adhesive-backed foam rubber similar to what was used for the original seals, or in cinema cam-style wool yarn, which is permanent and will never need to be replaced (not all models are amenable to wool seals).
