This is a good used secondary hood latch hook. This screws into the front of the hood and hook to the radiator support when opening the hood. This was removed from a 1989 Classic Saab 900 convertible, and it also fits the sedan and hatchback models. This is spring loaded, so it automatically catches the hood on its way open. These all originally had a piece of plastic riveted to the hook where it rubs the support.
