MGB GT 1975
Early rubber bumper car converted to chrome. I bought this to recommission last October, the story was it had been restored and then sat unused for 20 years or more. It is absolutely solid throughout with very decent panel gaps and presentable paint. The seats and carpets are in good order.
Since I have had it it has had in no particular order:
New clutch master and slave cylinders.
Rebuilt brake master cylinders, brakes rebuilt and replaced throughout.
New tyres on minilite style wheels.
New radiator.
Oil and filters.
ALL the suspension components have been removed, cleaned, painted and reassembled with poly bushes  and new fittings throughout. New telescopic shocks on the rear.
New battery.
The chrome bumpers are original (not copies) of the correct 1975ish era as is the grille. The welding and fabrication associated with the conversion is as good as it gets although the paint associated with the conversion is the wrong shade of white.
It is now at the point where it starts, runs stops and drives and all the electrics work as they should. It just needs a little minor fettling (one of the carbs has just decided to leak fuel from the overflow) and using.
I have spent a lot of time and money on the car - it almost certainly owes me more than the asking price. I have too many projects and a workshop move looming so something has to go. Hopefully this will be a genuine bargain for someone.
Available to view in Thetford, Norfolk. Cash or bank transfer on collection please.
