Herman Moll (1678 - 1732) was a Dutch émigré who came to London in the 1680s. He set up his own publishing and printing business in London. His work was respected for its accuracy, and was copied by many other publishers. This map is from 'A set of fifty new and correct maps of England and Wales' published with Thomas and James Bowles in London 1739.

Map area is in fair condition for age, engravings are clear. Some stains, water marks and soil marks . Repair to reverse of map. Hand colouring. Fold as issued.
