Definitely piece of nostalgia! Speed (what an original name!) was a part of the INSTA line of Software from Cimarron, a company that made a bunch of various products for the Commodore64. This particular item is/was a compiler for programs written in BASIC. So, in theory, it could still be of use to somebody still fiddling around with a Commodore!

This piece came from the estate of a Commodore64 enthusiast (he was a retired computer technician who had setup an unofficial Commodore museum in his home), so while I can't verify the diskette works, I'm extremely confident that it does.

However, I don't think the software itself is the target here; if you used this in your day and you're looking for that little bit of a fun memory, this is for you.

I honestly have no idea of value, so I'll start an auction and see where it goes!
