Barbie Doll Case by Mattel, Inc. 1961.  Excellent vintage condition: Case frame is straight, interior very clean with no lining tears, graphics/images and colors on front of case are crisp and clear. Case closes properly, flip buckle latch works well, metal with some oxidation.  Black plastic handle perfect and intact, all metal rivets present and still tight, interior compartment divider is straight, minor scratches to exterior. No odor. NO TEARS in the vinyl except for teeny tiny tear at crux of hinges of lid and barely noticeable. Glue residue on bottom of interior where drawer section was. Measures approx. 12.25 inches x 10.5 inches and 2.75  inches deep. Bottom left of case marked "(R) TM Lic., & (C) by Mattel, Inc. 1961", lower right marked "Ponytail (c)". NOTE: Drawer missing.  2 hangers included. This was my first barbie doll case as a young girl - it was treasured, stored property, cared for and loved.  This case illustrates a lifetime of proper handling and care. You'll be thrilled to find an authentic Barbie collectible of such age and in such fine shape~!
