This auction is for a Series of 1882 Five Dollars Date Back National Currency Banknote from The First National Bank of Oakdale, Pennsylvania. Slabbed and graded Fine 12 with a Comment of "As Made Printer Ink" by PCGS Banknote. This note is very heavily circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier folds and areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration, large ink blotch on the front); heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in many areas and oddly cut); edge indents/nicks (hard to say if there are any tears due to the note being the holder); very heavy surface wear and fraying (many areas of paper loss exist); two holes that I could see. Please see the photos to judge the condition of the note.
