This is a Vintage Westmark Model 702 Fixed-Blade Hunting Knife.

In the 1970's, the Western Knife Company (a famous American cutlery maker based in Colorado) created a high-end, custom-shop line of knives called the Westmark series.  This series cosisted of only three models: the 701, 702, and 703.

The Blade: It features a 5-inch clip-point (Bowie-style) blade made of high-carbon, rust-resistant American tool steel.  The total length of the knife is just under 10 inches.

The Handle and Fittings: It is built with a heavy brass finger guard, a highly polished aluminum pommel, and a handle made of resin-impregnated laminated hardwood blocks secured by two brass pins.  This laminate made the handle nearly weatherproof.

Unique identification:  Each Westmark knife was individually serialized.  The stamp on the blade tang shows the serial number 25339 on one side, and the "WESTMARK U.S.A 702" model stamp on the other.

The Sheath.: The knife is accompanied by its original, matching Westmark Model 702 heavy leather sheath made of premium triple-thickness steer hide.
