Authentic vintage Japanese woodblock print titled "Sparrows and Bamboo," after a composition by Edo-period master Chikanobu Kano. This is a mid-20th-century handmade pressing on traditional fibrous washi paper.

The print features the characteristic pencil notation "Bamboo + Sparrows by C. Kano" in the lower margin and a red artist stamp on the lower right.

Condition: Very Good to Excellent vintage condition. The artwork itself is exceptionally clean with NO foxing and NO water stains. The ink tones remain crisp and distinct. There is a very soft, faint wave near the top edge that will easily flatten out once framed under glass.

Matting: Housed in its original lightweight promotional paper matting. The matting shows one pinhead-sized dot stain, but the woodblock print itself remains untouched and entirely clean. Unframed.

The reverse side displays beautiful, authentic hand-pressed ink bleed-through.
