Here is a Starrett No. 458BXRL disc brake micrometer that measures from 1" to 2". It has been used??? Obviously not very much. You may find a few very minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. It has a measuring range from 1.000" to 2.000" and has a resolution of .001". There are no initials or engravings anywhere on it. The thimble moves in and out moves easily without any hesitations. The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. This micrometer is very accurate as well. You can see this in the last photo. The Starrett 1" standard is not included. The carbide face on the anvil looks as if it was a mirror. This is demonstrated by the reflection of the dollar bill that is not included. The original cardboard box is also in good condition. It has some wear on it from doing its job. It has been painted red, and with the help of some clear tape, it is still solid. It will continue to protect it for years to come.  Also included is a Starrett tap chart and a small wrench for making minor adjustments.
