• Vintage covered butter/cheese dish in blue and white Strawflower pattern;
• Unmarked, but appears that it was likely manufactured by PM Moschendorf, which makes the dish even more special. Moschendorf Co. was closed down by the German government in the early 1940's because it strictly opposed the National Socialist Party (a.ka. the nazi party) ;
• Made in Bavaria Germany;
• Bottom plate is about 6 inches across. Cover is 4.2 inches across and about 1.5 inches high (not including the knob);
• Pretty, traditional pattern that goes with anything,
