Vintage Troxel sprung bicycle saddle / seat in black, suitable for balloon tire cruiser and similar bikes.

Textured black cover over a molded pan with narrow nose and wide rear platform.

Undercarriage features dual rear coil springs with large bumper housings and a painted steel cross brace.

Front end uses a multi-leaf spring stack and integrated clamp assembly for mounting to compatible seatposts.

Troxel USA logo molded into the underside of the shell.

Handwritten tag in the photos reads "1950's Hiawatha" indicating its previous bicycle application.

Weight: 1528 g as shown on the digital scale in the photos.

Used vintage Troxel sprung saddle. Black cover has general surface wear with scuffs, discoloration and a few small edge nicks and tiny splits. Metal springs, brackets and clamp hardware show oxidation, rust and worn or flaking paint. Rear bumper housings are dirty with surface wear. Includes saddle with attached hardware as shown.
