Beautiful Andrea by Sadek blue-and-white porcelain teapot, decorated with an abundant hand-painted design of blooming peonies, leaves, and scrolling branches.

The rounded body, graceful curved spout, loop handle, and fitted lid give it a classic Asian-inspired form. Deep cobalt blue brushwork contrasts beautifully against the bright white porcelain, while the acorn-shaped lid finial adds a lovely finishing touch. Subtle differences in the shading and brushstrokes give the decoration the character expected from hand-painted ware.

The underside bears the Andrea by Sadek backstamp and is marked:

This design is commonly identified as Blue Ware Peony Flowers.

Based on the later-style Thailand backstamp, it was most likely manufactured during the 2000s or early 2010s, before the original Sadek company was acquired in 2015.
