Vintage Alpha Four Version 6.0 (V6) Relational Database for DOS — Complete Big Box Edition (CIB)
Up for sale is a fantastic piece of computing history: Alpha Four Version 6.0, the famous "True Relational Database Power for DOS Without Programming." This is a Complete in Box (CIB) retail set in super vintage condition, making it a premium addition for vintage software collectors, retro computing enthusiasts, or database software historians.
Condition Details:
- Functional Status: The software and 3.5" floppy disks are sold completely AS-IS and untested for data readability due to their age. The floppy disks have not been run or verified on a vintage drive, though they look physically immaculate.
- Cosmetics: Super pre-owned vintage condition! The thick paper manuals (Reference Manual, Tutorial Manual, Runtime User's Guide) are extremely clean with crisp pages. The original outer cardboard slipcase/box looks great overall, showing only some minor corner wear and light edge scuffs from normal storage over the years (please inspect all photos carefully to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition).
