This is a beautiful vintage mid century modern ceramic ashtray manufactured by USA Pottery, model number 8001.

It features a striking organic, teardrop or boomerang shape that perfectly captures the retro aesthetic of the 1960s and 1970s.

The piece features a glossy dark brown and amber drip glaze finish. It includes integrated ridges along the center curve for holding cigarettes.

The bottom is incised with the USA marks and the model number 8001.
