This is a rare antique open-face pocket watch with a built-in mechanical alarm complication, dating to circa 1900-1910.

The white enamel dial features black Arabic numerals, a red outer five-minute track, blued-steel hands, and an alarm-setting hand. It is stamped with a Swiss Cross and patent number 17102.

​The inner metal dust cover houses a manual selector lever to switch between "STOP" and "ALARM".

Please note that I have intentionally not opened this inner brass dust cover to expose the internal gears in order to preserve the delicate, mechanically complex alarm striking area.

​Condition:

The watch is in antique condition with authentic cosmetic wear and tear on the nickel/base metal case, including scuffs and tarnish. The dial has a visible vertical hairline crack running down from the 12 o'clock position. Most importantly, the manual-wind mechanical movement and the alarm mechanism are fully functional and currently running/ringing.
