Straight from the streets of New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington DC and Toronto, the NIKE Battlegrounds King of the Court Tournament traveled the country in search of the best streetballer who could claim the title of "King of Court". Battlegrounds: Ball or Fall follows the tournament from city to city, taking a closer look at who these modern day warriors are, why the need to battle exists and why this game is so deeply rooted in their psyches.

Battlegrounds explores the roots of the game on and off the court and illustrates what many ballers don't even understand about themselves - that the style and flavor of their game was predetermined before they were even born.

This mixture of pride and struggle has manifested itself in street culture and created the ultimate warriors... and survivors.
