This is a beautiful Antique Chinese natural painting stone. This occurs naturally in nature with the patterns and shapes within the rock and their polished and formed into these beautiful painting stones. The stone has to be cut precisely and polished just to a certain depth in order to reveal the painting without going too far. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition and dimensions. Came from a small private collection of these that I acquired. I believe it to be from the late 1800s early 1900s. It is old and has signs of age on it.
