Vintage Wedgwood "Persephone" Cup & Saucer - Eric Ravilious

Lovely cup from English factory Wedgwood of Etruria.

Decorated in the "Persephone" pattern by Eric Ravilious and featuring a transfer print design of black "scrolls" on a graduated green glaze around the edge.

The cup stands 2.5" (6.5cm) tall and measures 3.5" (9cm) in diameter with the saucer measuring 5.5" (14cm).

Fully marked to the base, production dates to the  1950's.

Used but in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
