This endearing horse is carved from a hard brown stone, with a pale turquoise offering bundle and turquoise inlaid eyes. From the style and characteristics of the fetish, I believe it most probably is the work of Zuni carver Theodore Kucate and dates to the mid-20th century. It is unsigned and is in good condition.
