This cdv is from a collection of named photos enabling the sitter to be identified as Ellen Briscoe born 1822 at Bushbury, Staffordshire, to George Briscoe & Mary Worthington and is the great granddaughter of William Worthington, the brewery founder.
She married Frederick Bolton in 1856 at Shardlow, Derbyshire, and died in 1910 at Ambleside, Cumbria
