A rare English antique solid sterling silver and enamel cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1917 with the maker being HCD. It has been superbly designed being decorated with purple enamel. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The enamel is free from chips cracks and repairs. It has a strong mechanism and is gilded inside. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.5cm) tall by almost 2 inches and weighs 62 grams. A very high quality rare example.
