The "Neo Classic Series" combines the core vintage-style tone—achieved through the use of traditional tonewoods—with Fujigen's own modern design elements.
Despite being a purely Japanese-made instrument, it offers exceptional value and practicality, featuring specifications that satisfy even advanced players.
This high-end model builds upon the NST100RAL (Alder body/Rosewood fretboard) by incorporating a top-lacquer finish, Seymour Duncan pickups, and USA-grade electronics to deliver a more vintage-authentic sound.
A 2023 update added a blender circuit, allowing for greater tonal versatility without compromising the core sound. Several new color options have also been added alongside the returning VSB (Vintage Sunburst), offering a wider range of choices.
While the material specifications mirror those of the standard model, higher-grade woods are used here; the quality—evident in the fretboard's hue and the instrument's weight—clearly translates into a superior sound.
It is equipped with the industry-standard Seymour Duncan SSL-1 pickup set, delivering a high-quality, accessible Stratocaster tone.
The blender circuit on the bridge tone control features a unique configuration that adds the middle pickup in series, enabling humbucker-like tones.

■ Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.)
By installing frets in a curved (arc) shape, each string intersects the fret at a right angle, minimizing the contact surface area.
This results in a clear sound with excellent attack and rich sustain.
■ Low-Setting Setup
The neck is set approximately 1mm deeper into the body compared to conventional electric guitars.
This reduces the distance between the strings and the body top without requiring an unnaturally low string action.
■ Compound Radius Fretboard (250mmR at the nut / 350mmR at the last fret)
This design balances a comfortable grip and supple string-bending feel for low-position chords with excellent playability in the upper registers.
