Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) is a French-American sculptor, painter and printmaker. As a second-wave feminist, she was widely outspoken about many world issues. Describing her childhood as being in hell, she lived to create the most colourful, playful and joyful sculptures and paintings, to inspire fashion brands like YSL or to found Jean Tinguely's museum, and much more.
