Antique Padlock & Key Tape Measure

This figural antique piece is in the form of a little padlock with key and holds a tape measure inside. It's made of a chrome plated non-ferrous metal (doesn't attract a magnet). The wide woven tape is complete and original and marked in inches. The key turns to wind the tape back in and it works perfectly.

The condition is excellent with no dents, loss or other damage. It measures 1 3/4"  x 1 1/4".  I haven't been able to find one like this in the books.

Despite the name, this organization is for people who collect needlework tools And thimbles. It's the largest collector’s group in the world focusing on these wonderful little pieces of history.
