Kohlert Bb Tenor Saxophone 61109 ~1959 German-Made For Restoration w/Hard Case and Rolled Tone Holes on offer. This Kohlert Tenor has decent tan leather pads mostly flat metal riveted resonators that are sealing well but the keywork needs regulation and it is not playing in current state. Even with the decent pad work, I would expect a decent amount of $$ and/or time to get the horn in very good playing condition. All keys actuate but a couple springs need to be replaced. What remaining lacquer there is, is original...the sparse art deco style engraving is sharp/unmolested. The left hand thumb rest peral or plastic is missing (see photo)--I'm not sure what was original to the horn.

The body has plenty of past dent work/current dings and dents and keyguards are likely not original to the horn...with obvious solder work in many spots...please see photos. Near the body octave key the horn is stamped Made In Germany.

The neck has some dings, past dent/resolder work and impression damage though it is functional will need adjustment to function properly when mated to body. The case is in decent functional shape and is suitable for storage and shipping...w/a typical musty smell present.
