Vintage State Bird Embroidery Project Queen 88x98 USA Birds Partially Completed

Lovely vintage state bird embroidery project on a Queen-size flat sheet. Originally sold as a no-iron muslin sheet by P.N. Hirsch & Co. (BONNIE brand), this piece features beautifully hand-embroidered state birds arranged in vertical columns down the center. Several states have been fully stitched, while most remain outlined in the original stamped pattern, making this an ideal project for completion or creative repurposing.

The fabric is lightweight and semi-sheer, appropriate for embroidery and display as a decorative bedspread or coverlet top. The layout places the birds across the upper and middle field of the sheet, exactly where a finished coverlet would be seen on the bed.

Condition:

Overall clean and well-kept. Shows light storage wear, some wrinkles, and a few small spots from age and handling (see photos). No tears or holes noticed. Embroidery work is secure and well done.
