The clasp/ spring isn’t completely working so the clip can be moved initially without resistance. If you see the photos where it is part open this is where the resistance of the spring kicks in. It will fall open by about 1mm, with little resistance open to 2mm and with resistance open the full amount. This is reflected in price. Possibly an easy fix I am unsure I have the ability to.
