This is a Very Good + Copy of this book in brown cloth with title lettering to spine in it's very rare dust-jacket graded Very Good + and has no real chips or tears to it's extremities.Lightly rubbed to spine tips and corners and there is some spotting to the outer covers and to the front and rear flaps of the wrapper.Not price clipped with 10/6 net showing to the front flap.Remarkable condition given it's age and certainly scarce with the presence of the dust-jacket.The binding of the book is nice and tight with NO hinge weakness,no leaning to spine.Contents of the book remain clean internally.A fascinating read and a wonderful collection of tales from the great hunting grounds of the world relaid by men who have won great renown for their skill in pursuit of Big Game.Collected tales from the polar seas and the alps of Europe to the African Bush and the dense Jungles of Asia and from some remote blocks from within Australia and New Zealand.This scarce work was acquired from a hugely impressive library of books on Big Game Hunting and shooting in the UK Asia,The Far East,America,Canada,Africa and New Zealand.8vo 290pp First Edition 1st Impression [1931]
