MECHANICAL CONDITION: Ticking/keeping time

Beautiful vintage Hamilton Grade 912 pocket watch dating to approximately 1924, housed in an attractive white gold filled octagonal Art Deco case.

This watch features a Hamilton 912 12-size movement with 17 jewels and adjustment, signed Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, PA. The movement serial number is 3223874.

The silver-tone metallic dial has a striking Art Deco design with applied Arabic numerals and blue steel hands. Subseconds register at 6 o’clock. The octagonal engraved case complements the period styling very well.

The inside case engraving references:
“Brandon Mach Co. – Quarter Century Club – Worcester, MA – 25 Years,” indicating this was likely a long-service presentation watch.

Condition

  • Movement appears clean visually
  • Running condition not fully tested for accuracy or duration
  • Dial shows minor age wear/light spotting
  • Case has surface scratches and normal vintage wear
  • Crystal shows light wear
  • Bow and crown appear intact
