Offered is a genuine antique Elgin National Watch Co. pocket watch dating to 1885.

Condition

The watch winds, runs, and is keeping time during casual observation. Timing accuracy and long-term performance are not guaranteed, and service history is unknown.

The movement is exceptionally clean with bright gilt finish and attractive engraving. The dial presents very well with no obvious cracks or chips visible. The Silveroid hunter case shows honest age-related handling marks but remains in very good overall condition with functioning hinges.

A beautiful early American Elgin pocket watch that displays exceptionally well and would make an excellent addition to any antique pocket watch collection.
