Fabric & Texture: The canvas has softened nicely from standard military laundering, showing attractive fading along the seams and high-friction areas. There are no major structural rips, burns, or grease stains.
Fabric Pilling: Typical for aramid/Nomex blends after washing, there is noticeable surface fuzzing/pilling
on the upper torso, shoulders, and sleeve areas.
Hardware & Zippers: All heavy-duty metal zippers (front closure, chest pockets, legs, cuffs)
are fully functional, intact, and retain their pull cords.
Internal Waist Modification (Field Repair): The internal elastic waist-cinching system shows an authentic, functional military field modification. The elastic bands were manually reinforced with extra stitching. On one side, a vintage safety pin is used to anchor the tensioner to the tracking (see image_16.png, image_17.png, and image_18.png).
This is completely internal and completely hidden when worn.
Velcro Panels & Sleeve Pocket: The hook-and-loop fields on the chest and arms are firmly attached but show mild edge-fraying. The interior Velcro strips on the left sleeve utility pocket and tool slots show some loose threads from use but still grip securely.
Neck Label: The white interior canvas tag is fully legible with the word "MATRICULE :" intact.
The individual soldier's service identification number field remains unwritten and completely blank.
