I am downsizing my collection of cool valve covers...Here is a vintage pair of OEM Ford "THUNDERBIRD" aluminum valve covers...These were standard equipment on 1955-57 Thunderbirds...They fit all the Ford and Mercury Y-Block V8s 1954-64 239, 256, 272, 292 and 312 cu.in...Condition: very good...a prior owner drilled an extra hole in each cover, I had the holes professionally welded closed and smoothed on the outside...Otherwise the covers show normal wear from age and use...Please review all photos carefully for condition...Due to the difference in aluminum alloy between the valve covers and the aluminum used in the welding process there is a slight  "ghost" image of where the hole used to be(see last photo)...The covers need to be repolished/refurbished to look their best...Payment is expected within 3 days...Check my feedback and bid with confidence!
