The author writes: One of my favorite play to relax and be inspired is our family's small farm pond just a few minutes from my studio. On those rare occasions when Robert and  take the time to do nothing at all, we lay on a quilt, read a good book and enjoy the sun on our faces. Sometimes, when even reading is too much effort, I just watch the wild flowers and tall grass bow to each other in the breeze, dancing to a tune that only they can hear. The melody they listen to is nature - God's own symphony. As I look around me, I am constantly amazed at the perfect symmetry of even the smallest things - a leaf, a flower's petals, an acorn. These simple things have inspired me to capture them on cloth to enjoy all year thru, even when I can't go to my favorite place.
