This late 80s flagship model is in great condition. There are a few age related scuffs and light scratches, but nothing obviously noticeable. Please look carefully at the photos for cosmetic detail as these are part of the item description.
Service Details:
Left channel has been rebuilt due to prior failure and apparent repair attempt. All genuine parts. Speaker connector PCB has had a track repair.
Potentiometers and switches have been cleaned. Speaker protection relay contacts cleaned. Thermal compound renewed. Electrolytic capacitors tested and replaced where necessary. Solder joints checked and reflowed where needed. Voltage and current drive amplifiers DC bias (ICQ) has been re-adjusted to specification. Full strip-down, clean and rebuild.
This is a fantastic sounding amplifier, capable of delivering plenty of undistorted power. Superb clarity, particularly via the built-in DAC. It's an absolute monster!
