Titled: "So You Want To Be a Slugger" by Hank Greenberg.
This is the No. 1 Booklet in the Sportslore Baseball Series, but I could not find any other follow-on booklets anywhere.
Nice photos of Hank - especially the cover photo.
Lists every one of his career home runs including date, opposing team and pitcher, and stadium.
Also lists full batting statistics by year and includes final career statistics. Includes World Series and All-Star Game stats as well.
Front and back covers have a nice leather-like texture embossed into them.
Written by John Ruban with assistance from J. G. Taylor Spink of the Sporting News.
Sixteen unnumbered pages. Assumed printing date of 1948 since his stats go through the 1947 season.
All pages are free of writing. Excellent condition.
Please see the photos provided.
I have quite a few other publications listed, and I'll continue to list more. I've
had a few hundred of them boxed-up and stored for over 40 years, and
they are in great shape.
