This Antique German Toy Grocery Shop was made in the mid-19th century - possibly by the Christian Hacker firm of Nuremberg or in the Erzgebirge region. It is a beautifully crafted room box featuring a Victorian or federal style. The shop includes a lovely early wooden doll or Grodnertal doll with jointed limbs including the knees and elbows. Her silk dress and hat appear original and have wear and some melting. Ask for additional photos. The shop is handmade with painted details, including the gothic style windows. All the drawers are labeled with various goods in German. This furnished miniature room box includes accessories, doll, and furniture- as shown- all set in a charming blue-and brown themed shop. Note the early and rare shop desk. Measuring 18 inches in length, 13 inches in height, and 10 inches in depth, this original piece was manufacturedcwoth great care and detail. It is approximately 1:12 scale. Perfect for collectors aged 16 and up, this unique item captures the romantic essence of the time period. If you live near central Nass you may pick up in person.
