Corgi Massey-Ferguson 165 Tractor With R J Fleming Saw Attachment Vintage Boxed
Lovely vintage 1970-73 diecast 1:43 scale model by Corgi. Superbly detailed and functional with an R J Fleming side-mounted saw, and mechanical tractor engine sound.
Grey chassis, engine, dashboard and seat, white front grille with headlights, white MF badge, red bonnet and rear mudguards, MASSEY FERGUSON 165 Multi-Power decals on the side of the bonnet, (missing the bare metal exhaust stack), black metal 3-spoke steering wheel.
Yellow detailed cast metal saw drive machinery and weight mounted to the rear with spring drive powered by the toothed inside rear tyre, yellow side-mounted saw arm with black hydraulic ram sleeves, RJ Fleming - Stony Stratford decal and controller, chromed plastic sawblade and driver’s protective screen. The model also has a engine noise “clicker” powered by the front wheels. Rear wheels are red plastic, fronts are red painted metal, all with rubber tyres.
It comes with what appears to be an original window box with white vacu-formed internal plinth. The window film is cracked.
The Massey Ferguson 165 is a highly popular, classic agricultural tractor built between 1964 and 1975. Famous for its durability and reliable Perkins diesel engines, it delivers around 58 to 62 horsepower. Because so many were produced, parts remain widely available, making it a favorite for both working farms and collectors.

R (Ron). J. Fleming was a historical agricultural engineering and motorcycle sales business based in Stony Stratford, Buckinghamshire, established circa 1930. It was best known in the 1960s and 1970s for manufacturing tractor-mounted saw-blade hedge and timber trimmers (such as the Fleming saw-head). The business and name (not to be confused with R J Fleming Agri) closed down in 1986.
