Thaddeus S. Klodnicki was a Poland-born artist known for watercolor paintings of rural living, natural landscapes, and maritime scenes. He studied art, architecture, and civil engineering before entering the Polish Underground Army and being taken as prisoner of war in Germany. After his release, he moved to the United States where he became a member of the Rockport Art Association and American Watercolor Society.

This gorgeous watercolor painting depicts a landscape with two cottages, including a red cottage with two chimneys along with a brown wood finished cottage with platform above the roofline. The two cottages are nestled into a lush green landscape with white picket fence separating the viewer and the cottages. Signed lower left. Presented matted within a silver finished frame.
