What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

The nylon bobbin, sitting on top of the aluminium core, extends either side from the costly swing arm to be the first to receive impact in any crash. With EP's innovative design, the nylon can move with the impact and reduce stress and damage on the motorcycle. The protector heads are mounted to the rear wheel by a strong roll threaded stainless steel spindle rod.
