Vintage Retro Britwood Toys Wooden Castle/Fort Circa 1960's/1970's Toy Soldiers 

A lovely vintage wooden castle/fort made by Britwood Toys which we are assuming is most likely from somewhere around the 1960's / 1970's era, although this is just an rough guess of course. 

The castle/fort comes with the additional extras as you see in the photos. No figures are included, this is just for the castle/fort only. 

It is well built and made mainly from solid wood. Clearly this has been stored away for many years and it would benefit from a good cleaning. 

Having had a look over this one side of the castle/fort does slide down and the others look to have been either pinned or glued into place. We are unsure if this is how it was designed or if the one side has just come loose over time. 

We have shown approximate size measurements within the photos showing the length, height and depth. 

This would make a great display item and/or could be used with various soldiers such as Britains or others.
