Two highly collectable vintage books by Rudyard Kipling, specifically Kim and Plain Tales From the Hills.

Both books are clean throughout: no foxing, inscriptions, grubby fingerprints, or anything of that ilk. Boards, spines, and text-blocks, all solid, tight, and square.

Kim - 1st edition, 1901, Macmillan and Co. Good condition, commensurate with age. Hinges, external and internal, free of cracks.

Plain Tales From the Hills - Reprint, 1900, Macmillan and Co. Good condition, commensurate with age. Hinges, external and internal, free of cracks other than the beginning of an external split to the lower front hinge - see pictures for close-up.
