Description

[Used] Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / 2004 Custom 22 Artist Package Royal Blue Wide Fat Neck

A pre-owned "Custom 22 Artist Package" (2004 model) with a stop-tail bridge has arrived!

【Custom 22】
Compared to the Custom 24, the Custom 22 has seen far fewer imports to Japan and possesses a distinct character. With two fewer frets than the flagship "Custom 24," differences in construction and pickup placement give it a richer, more musical sound, making it a classic PRS model.

This specific unit features the "Artist Package" specification: an Artist-grade maple top, a rosewood headstock veneer, Paua bird inlays, and gold hardware.

【Body, Neck, and Fretboard】
The body features the classic combination of a flame maple top and mahogany back, paired with a mahogany neck. Indian rosewood is used for the fretboard.

【Neck Shape】
It features the "Wide Fat" neck profile. It offers a comfortable grip with just the right amount of thickness, ensuring it doesn't feel difficult to play.

【Pickups】
It is equipped with a set of the classic "Dragon II" pickups. Utilizing Alnico 4 magnets, they deliver a highly versatile tone that retains the vintage feel of the McCarty model while offering a powerful, punchy output.

【Selector, etc.】
It features a 3-way toggle switch and coil-tapping capabilities, allowing for intuitive control while playing.

PRS guitars have long been loved by guitarists across various genres. You can expect top-tier performance in any setting, whether live, in jam sessions, or in the studio.

【Condition】
There is some clouding in the finish on the body and neck, as well as a chip in the finish at the bottom of the body. Other signs of use consistent with its age include tarnished hardware, fine scratches, and scattered dings. One screw on the bridge pickup mounting ring is stripped.

There are no issues regarding playability, such as the condition of the neck, frets, or truss rod.
Upon arrival, the instrument underwent a full setup and fret leveling at our repair center, so you can play with confidence. Product Rank: B (Shows significant signs of use and scratches, but functions perfectly for normal playing)
