Offered here is an exceptionally uncommon Jack Katz “Imaginative Realism” presentation portfolio containing 14 full-color reproductions of the artist’s original paintings printed on heavy cardstock.

Unlike a commercially published art book, this portfolio appears to have been produced as a display copy that Jack Katz brought to comic conventions and appearances so visitors could view his paintings.

One of the photographs in this listing shows a handwritten note stating:

“Imaginative Realism”

Condition

Very nice overall vintage condition with light handling wear consistent with age and use as a convention display piece. Please review all photographs carefully for the best representation of condition.

Because these were apparently intended as convention display/reference copies rather than retail merchandise, they are seldom encountered. I have been unable to locate another example currently offered for sale.
