A German Porcelain "Schnapsnase" in the form of Santa Claus, Father Christmas or Gnome Elf, dating from around the 1920's/30's.

Originally intended for precise pouring of schnapps more traditionally through the nose, this one pours through his cap.

He is still fully functioning with an attached cork stopper.
